If you haven't heard... the Dueling Dinosaurs experience is now open @NaturalSciences. It was an eight-year journey to get here filled with amazing moments and fueled by the hearts and souls of so many. Let's look back.

The Expeditionlive! Crew is back in the Straight Cliffs, Utah trying to fill in one of the worst gaps in North American Dinosaur Evolution. Not easy to find #dinosaurs here. Happy to be working a new site with ankykosaur bones and now some hadrosaur skull. #dinodig25

And in the afternoon… time to give back. We visited the Crownpoint Chapter House to talk with a youth group about paleontology & their community. In the future we’d like to work with them on a local fossil exhibit. 🩷 #dinodig25 @NaturalSciences @NCStateBioSci @NCStateSciences

It wouldn’t be the last day in camp without a morning jacket pull. In this case a meter-long ceratopsian tibia! #dinodig25

Yesterday’s find… an associated Deinosuchus skeleton! 🐊❤️ #dinodig25

During our live stream today @NaturalSciences a viewer asked how hard it is to spot bone when prospecting the Menefee. The answer is it depends. Some bone is easy and some is challenging. Here are a few easy bits of bone i saw on my way down the hill. Give it a try! #dinodig25

Here @ExpeditionLive! we like to make new friends… and I mean literally MAKE new friends. Can’t figure out why Carl here keeps trying to run (umm, ROLL) away. Guess it’s just in his nature 😆 #dinodig25

Luxury avian real estate in the Menefee . 5ft nest atop a rock tower 🩷 #dinodig25

More of our small ankylosaur turning up. We now have pectoral, forelimb, pelvic, foot, and verts which is fantastic. The only problem is… the bone layer is under 10 meters of overburden 😩 #dinodig25

Nice tyrannosaur tooth in the quarry today. #dinodig25

The storms have passed and we have two new ceratopsian #dinosaur sites to explore, a large individual and a baby #dinodig25. @NCStateBioSci BIO 325 students hard at work jacketing up some pelvic bones.

Three days of rain. At least it brings rainbows. #dinodig25

Tyrannosaur tails, duckbill #dinosaur footprints, and ashes the past couple of days. And more bone turning up at the quarry. #dinodig25

Lots of incredible fossilized wood in the Menefee. Including stumps buried by river mud and fossilized in place and sparkling crystallized wood. It’s hard not to get distracted. #dinodig25
