I never liked hubslife videos because they all had the sickly tenor of resentment in them, the purposefully dead eyes and slack jawed expression. Ppl like this also seem to lack some core sense of self & see nothing wrong with shifting details or making things up
type of girl who spends half the trip looking for little things to bring back for people back home
I think about a tiny bake shop in Charleston about once every 4-6 weeks
I definitely internalized tom hanks in sleepless in Seattle saying his dead wife made everything beautiful at Christmas
Some of u have never known the satisfaction of weaving thousands of individual notes into your muscle memory & neural pathways until they form themselves into larger groups without conscious thought like how you don’t think about individual letters in a word & it shows
My kitschy Christmas thing is I would like to purchase one decorative Christmas village building + accessory per year. There is only one company that does them well. I bought my first one last year & the one I really want (UWS brownstones) is now so rare it’s $500+ online

I’ve become obsessed with the idea of having party favors that are mini cabbages using my cabbage print on vellum. I have absolutely no personal use-case for this craft

I think about this a lot as I’ve gotten older and noticed this
People who aren't from sick, dark-sided, broken families cannot conceive of what it's like to be from such a family. It's beyond their comprehension. The entire psychological architecture is different. The guy from a decent, upstanding, functional family thinks: "It's…
women want to be your number one it’s not complicated at all it fits in the lyrics of a pop song
Some of you
Reminds me of the old line where the man says he makes the major decisions in the family, like how they feel about foreign aid, and their position on immigration, and the wife makes all the little decisions about where to live, and what he does for a living, etc.
Would you bring a book to a symphony performance?? A play??? You’re the audience
