I represented a client who signed a 72 page lease last year. I just signed a lease that was 12 pages. They pretty much said the same thing. Pay rent and you can use my building, stop paying you'll get kicked out.
Purchase agreements have gotten way too complicated. The ones that are 5-7 pages are perfect. You pay this much and I'll give you a certain amount of time to review DD docs, if you like everything purchase the building, if not cancel escrow and move on.
