On Tuesday, 22nd July, 2025, I presented 500 motorbikes to agricultural extension officers in a brief ceremony as part of a broader initiative to enhance extension services and increase food production. Details in image below!




I engaged productively with the Parliamentary Select Committee on Food, Agriculture & Cocoa Affairs yesterday, discussing government’s key initiatives, operations and challenges. We are committed to collaborative efforts to drive agricultural progress and food security in Ghana

Highlights from the Feed Ghana Programme launch in Techiman.




IMPORTANT UPDATE: 📌 📍 📌 📍 The Feed Ghana Programme (FGP) will be officially launched by President John Dramani Mahama today April 12, 2025. The event is set to take place at the Methodist School Park in Techiman, Bono East Region.

I had the pleasure of welcoming H.E. Jules-Armand Aniambossou, French Ambassador to Ghana, and Clémentine Dardy, Director of the French Development Agency to Wa, where we discussed key agricultural initiatives aimed at boosting food security and promoting economic growth


In #Wa, at RCC, @JaAniambossou met with Hon. @EricOpokuMP, Minister for Food and Agriculture, & Hon. Charles Lwanga Puozuing, Upper West Regional Minister. 🤝 A useful discussion on #French cooperation 🇫🇷, focused on @AFD_France agricultural projects, crucial for the North of 🇬🇭.
The Feed Ghana Programme(FGP), is set to be launched by @JDMahama on April 12, 2025. Initially scheduled for April 11, the launch date has been rescheduled to Saturday, April 12. The official event will take place at the Methodist School Park in Techiman, Bono East Region.

I had the privilege of welcoming to my office the High Commissioner of India in the person of Mr. Manish Gupta, where we discussed opportunities to strengthen our bilateral cooperation in the Agricultural Sector.
