We’ve been awarded operatorships for the development of 2 new North Sea CO2 storages. Each has an expected capacity of 5 million tonnes of CO2/year. These are important building blocks for developing the Norwegian continental shelf into a leading European CO2 storage area 🇳🇴 🇪🇺

Production starts at Kristin South 🌊 This project showcases efficient use of existing infrastructure, providing energy security and creating jobs in Norway. With low CO2 emissions, it's a step towards sustainable development in a mature area of the Norwegian Continental Shelf.
We’ve been awarded our first carbon capture and storage (CCS) exploration permit in Denmark as operator, together with partners @Orsted and @Nordsofonden 🇩🇰 The CO2 Storage Kalundborg project has a potential capacity to store up to 12 million tonnes of CO2/year.
Our project development agreement w/@GRTgaz looks to connect captured CO2 from French industrial emitters to safe, permanent storage offshore Norway via the planned CO2 Highway Europe pipeline project 🏭 The project’s initial capacity is 3-5.5 million tonnes of CO2/year. More 👇

We’ve signed a 15-year agreement to supply LNG to the Indian fertiliser and petrochemical company Deepak Fertilisers starting in 2026 🇮🇳 The agreement covers an annual supply of ca 9 TWh, and will be mainly used as feedstock for ammonia production.
