At the weekend, our students had a lot of fun participating in the European SynBio Hackathon. By combining expertise, creativity, and mentorship, participants worked together to create solutions that address global challenges across health, sustainability, agrifood, and beyond.

Introducing our first cohort of EngBio CDT students! Everyone is currently studying in Bristol looking into Biomolecular Design and Construction, Biological Circuit Design, and Cell and Multicellular Design 🧬

It's been a busy few weeks for our new students: Attended welcome weeks at Bristol & Oxford ✅ Started Foundation courses in Oxford in Biology or Maths ✅ Learnt new skills with 3D printing ✅ Next week, they're off to Bristol to continue their training
