From Zero days to Live, to 13 years old. I delivered Ruby, sucked fluid from her lungs, wrapped her blue body up in a towel and rushed her to a hospital. Got oxygen, ambulance to @childrenswi and learned of #CHD #ToF #22q and later #T1D feeding tubes & surgery. Crazy. PTSD.

Today we launched a @geyserfund for Ruby, with a goal of Long term planning to support Ruby's continued care in the present, future and long after I'm gone. There's only a couple more years before she's an adult, but she'll require special needs for living with #22q #T1D #CHD

Ruby turned 16 this weekend, and she loves her new space! Such a great weekend for her. Happy Birthday 🎈 🎂 We built this space in such a way that she will feel comfortable in it for years to come, along with her own mailbox 📪 like it’s her own apartment. Proud of you, Ruby.

I spent the ENTIRE weekend converting Ruby’s Room from little kid to big kid status. This is my progress, before & after. I’m trying to turn her room into her own “apartment” because she will never be in a position to live on her own. So I’m trying to make it like a studio apt!
