Seattle Kraken 2025-26 strength of schedule by month Just like last year, November will provide a great opportunity to stack points, with a 2.5-week stretch that features 2 games vs CHI and 2 games vs SJS #SeaKraken
Here are their matchups on the 2nd half of those back-to-backs: at WSH at DAL at NYI at LAK vs VAN at VAN vs BOS at BOS at LAK at STL vs FLA at MIN at COL 3 home, 10 road. 8 against playoff teams. That's a tough slate.

Sounds like Paul McFarland will be named assistant coach of the Edmonton Oilers. McFarland had been coaching the Calgary Hitmen of the WHL.
Unfortunately this will start a year too late for Berkly Catton. Would've been very helpful if he was eligible for the AHL this year. This could still be relevant for the Kraken next year, as Jake O'Brien will be able to play for the Firebirds. #SEAKraken
Sources say a new provision in the CBA will allow each #NHL team to place one 19-year-old CHL player in the #AHL per season. One per organization per season and 18-year-olds are ineligible. Begins in 2026-27 season.
To answer those who’ve asked about timeline on implementation: That’s up the NHL/AHL and CHL all getting on the same page. I haven’t gotten a firm answer re: 2025-26 and CHL teams still don’t know. Making changes/amendments to the CHL-NHL Agreement has moved slowly in the past.
Not sure if this is out there yet but there's lots of chatter amongst agents/CHL clubs about the AHL moving from its longstanding 20-year-old rule for major junior players to 19-year-old entry. They want to see the language, but sounds like it's happening in some form.
