Weird thing I’ve done since I was 17 when abroad if I don’t speak the local languages well: If I find someone who speaks Spanish/Catalan, I’ll speak to them in either of those langs and I’ll do that rather than speak to them in Eng - just so there’s no linguistic inequalities
