My Detransition, 5 years later. My first time speaking in public! I cried a lot when I was writing this speech, and it was impossible for me to contain my emotions on stage. I’m so grateful that I was welcomed to speak at this event and share my story.

Learning how to navigate a transit system in a big city is like learning how to ride a bike. It’s really hard at first, but once you do it in one city you can learn how to do it in any city.
I wanted the Canada trip to cost $300. I planned to spend $175 for bus + AirBnb and $125 for anything I wanted. I had never planned a budget for a trip before so I figured I would be generous and give myself enough money for fun. I only spent $250. I’m so proud of myself :’)

Not Vancouver accepting my United States credit card with APPLE PAY on the bus and on the light rail while Seattle forces you to get an ORCA card. You can’t use any other card. The only methods are ORCA, or cash.
