Those who do most to privatise the NHS are the consultants, imo. They take part time NHS contracts with the rest of their time in the private sector charging absurd amounts of money. And they make themselves uncontactable in a hierarchy as fiercely guarded as the army's.

Today I had surgery for breast cancer. The tumour is gone and I’m on strict instructions to rest and avoid heavy lifting (and housework, apparently). Tomorrow will mark exactly 8 weeks since I found the lump and called my doctor. The NHS is amazing. #NHS #breastcancer

The Israeli govt can't claim to have successfully degraded Hamas in two yrs of war AND claim that Hamas is still so strong it can prevent almost all aid getting through. It can't claim there's no starvation AND that the starvation is the fault of Hamas. It's losing all reason.
