So you want to make hadrosaurs? A🧵 I'll make this amply clear before diving into this, but I am NOT a professional. Should one see this thread and find something to be incorrect, take their statement over mine.

Something that was on my mind when I was making Raja because I was listening to the Agni Kai music the entire time- it's actually what got me wanting to make this guy after so long. Felt like it was pretty fitting too, so here's a little fight between 2 of 'em.

I guess I should get around to actually making an instagram account...I think I made one when it very first released? Can't remember if it was that or Vine but I used it for about 5 minutes and never touched it again. Now it's relevant for entirely different reasons. Weird.
DINO NEWS!!! New way to look the giant thief, Megaraptor has been analyze to see how can we reconstruct one of the most interesting animals found in Argentina. Link: italianjournalofgeosciences.it/297/article-12… #dinosaur #Argentina #JurassicWorldRebirth
Sometimes sitting in absolute silence aside from a ceiling fan faintly buzzing in the middle of the night is just the right thing to do. And sometimes that buzzing sound makes me go ballistic, but tonight's not that kind of night.
If you didn’t know, ankylosaurs firmly take my 2nd place for favorites amongst dinosaurs. This is also the reason that after I’m done with the current lineup I’m gonna have fun making a lot and then going insane with the armor specifics.
Small reminder that, as far as I'm aware, hadrosaurs across the board likely had claws like this on their back legs. Honestly they could even be a bit rounder than this. Back to animation...

Today's been rather busy so far, but still solid. Might take another day just to animate a 'lil bit more, I want to do something with Edmontosaurus since I feel like I skipped over it too fast.
Quick palaeoart PSA - there's this LACM Edmontosaurus skull with preserved rhamphotheca that's often circulated and used as direct reference for the beak shape. I've seen some art that only references the right side, but a big chunk of the rhamthotheca is missing from that side:
Please welcome the AMAZING Mirasaura grauvogeli, a NEW MARVELOUS Drepanosaur published in NATURE today! This astonishing reptile lived during the Middle Triassic in Europe and it possessed an amazing crest made of plume-like structures! I was commissioned to bring it to life!
Alright, still super tired so I'm headed off to sleep. This poll will still be going for about another 11~12 hours, so do put in a vote if you've not already. I'll probably start working on stuff again tomorrow but we'll see.
Mkay, I've got the list kind of set up in mind. For it though I'll be putting up this poll; This is for the 3rd in line by the way. Gonna be doing a 'lil thing I've been meaning to for some time now, both of these will come as a pair but this poll is just for who gets priority.
Some fairly quick animation practice using Shant, lots of different angles.
Always lovely to see a new cover in the morning like this, so thank you both! Make sure to rest well.

The heaviest of the hadrosaurs and also one of the largest, here's Shantungosaurus! I'd hate to be caught in this things path. It's also built particularly bulky for a hadrosaur around the limbs, though I suppose that's no surprise looking at how titanic this thing is.
Gonna go grab a 'lil meal before bed and then turn in for the night. Not exactly sure what I'll be doing tomorrow but expect that Shant animation while I decide what's next.
Go for a walk, take a shower, and get some ice cream to eat in front of a cold ac unit for like 20 minutes. Summer is pretty nice in its own way.
