Building AI apps? You need sync.
🚨 Big news! We’ve been collaborating with the legendary @tannerlinsley and the TanStack team to build something new: TanStack DB — a reactive, normalized, transactional state engine that extends TanStack Query.
Really looking forward to Sync London tomorrow! A bunch of exciting talks from teams building real apps on sync engines 🚀🥳
Not long now! lu.ma/sync-london Talks are shaping up great and we’re well past venue capacity. @devYonz is airborn. @samwillis has sorted out the pineapple cubes and cocktail sausages. If you’re in London on Tuesday and have been lurking so far, now’s your last chance!
🎉 TanStack DB now has @solid_js support! Thanks @masaffaritaheri 🫡
🎉 TanStack DB now has @sveltejs support! Thanks @wobsoriano! 🫡
TanStack DB has me just as excited as Query and Router did in their early days. So exciting watching the API and DX unfold.
New docs for the @tan_stack DB live query api 🚀 We completed a major refactor/rewrite of both the query builder and query engine a couple of weeks ago, and the docs are now live - link in 🧵 Live queries use IVM* to do the minimal work on each change.
New doc for creating custom integrations w/ @tan_stack DB
It's been a huge pleasure collaborating with the great folks at Trigger 🙏
⚡ Our Realtime service now handles over 20,000 updates per second! It wasn't easy to achieve this scale so we had to write about it. (Spoiler, we use the awesome @ElectricSQL). ↓

A big update to our Electric/TanStack DB starter — it's now a project app, not just a todo app! You can create projects & share them with other users.
Excited to announce the initial release of the @trailbase_io integration with TanStack DB! Trailbase is a blazingly fast, open-source, single-executable Firebase alternative.
PGlite (WASM Postgres) now gets over 1 million downloads a week! 🤯🚀 Absolutely incredible to see how people have embraced what we have built. Awesome work by the team!
"Should my web app use a sync engine?" If your web app would benefit from caching, live queries, retries, instantaneous UX, offline support, streamlined state, then the real question is... "Why *wouldn't* I use a sync engine?"
In the tech corner, we're highlighting our cutting-edge work with @ElectricSQL and @tan_stack that does cross local and cloud sync, literally never been done before. Our AI Agent, Wherebot, is built on top of these technologies using A2A and MCP protocols.
Stop building real-time sync from scratch for AI apps 🧵 Just shipped an AI agent using sync engines instead of the usual WebSocket nightmare. Best decision I made this year.

Excited to release a new starter! Sync-first, production-ready, and blazing fast - @tan_stack Start - @tan_stack DB for blazing fast client-side queries & optimistic mutations - @ElectricSQL for real-time sync from PG - @better_auth - @DrizzleORM - @tailwindcss - Hono OpenAPI
We want to be like S3 and Redis — powerful technologies that you setup once and never think about again.
If you look at our commit history, it's months of bug fixes and performance improvements. It's this sort of sustained effort to surface and fix every bug that will enable Electric to hit the quality bar.
The main obstacle to sync is it's a new black box. Is it reliable/fast enough to drive critical data flows? People rightfully have a db-level quality bar. If it seems like @ElectricSQL has been quiet lately, it's because we're 100% focused on meeting this bar.
