Considering to be myself a good coach because every program I have ever taken over was from the bottom-no club track foundation, no repeating state championship, no recruited athletes. Literally the bottom. Always had a kid sign collegiately. That was the win… For me.

I’m not in “track parent” shape anymore. Assembling that tent kick my behind 😭 I brought my Keenan quilt with me. I had so many shirts but I couldn’t bear to throw them away and my good friend made it into a quilt for me. I actually have two of them 😂

When I used to train privately, I had a parent get mad because her long jump “only improved by two feet” I only trained her for six weeks and she improved every meet within that small amount of time. When dad pulled her to go to another trainer, she never jumped further.
