A poem my son had written as a homework assignment when he was around 8. Kept on the fridge ever since...

Just a couple of jigs to help start the day! I hope you enjoy!🙏
I sincerely hope the music clip helps start the day as we enter into the new week! #traditionalmusic #celticmusic #music #scotland #ireland #fiddlemusic #tradmusic #fiddle
A new video upload…I hope you enjoy! Ed Harris - The Otter’s Holt - Music in the Glen - The Virginia Reel youtu.be/bp2_iIULdjk
The Irish reel "Man of the House" doesn't have a specific, widely documented story behind its origin like some other traditional tunes. However, the title itself often evokes a sense of responsibility and domesticity.
Just a little something to help get the day started! I hope you enjoy!

My interpretation of this Irish Reel. The group Altan (one of my favs) included a wonderful rendition of this tune on their album of the same name.
This is an original piece about the 5,300 year old "Iceman" or Ötzi who was found on September 19, 1991 by two German tourists, at an elevation of 3,210 metres (10,530 ft) on the east ridge of the Fineilspitze in the Ötztal Alps on the Austrian–Italian border.
Just a short clip I hope you will enjoy! The tune “Fisher’s Hornpipe” likely originates from a classical composition by German composer Johann Christian Fischer. It became widely popular after being published in “A Collection of Cotillions, Minuets and Hornpipes” around 1780.
"Down by the Salley Gardens" (Irish: Gort na Saileán) is a poem by William Butler Yeats published in The Wanderings of Oisin and Other Poems in 1889.
“The Raggle Taggle Gypsy” is a traditional folk song that originated as a Scottish border ballad, and has been popular throughout Britain, Ireland and North America. It concerns a rich lady who runs off to join the gypsies (or one gypsy).
A quaint melody to help start the day! The house in the background is a historical homestead in Bath, NC. This is the town where Blackbeard the Pirate resided up until his demise. The folks in town welcomed him! The township enjoyed a prosperous economy because of him! 🤣
