I can't believe how fortunate we all are that we lived to experience the magic that was @eddievanhalen. I miss him more and more as the days pass, but knowing we were witness to thee most influential Guitarist in the last half-century, and blasting @VanHalen music, surely helps.
"Dirty Movies" is one of @eddievanhalen and the boys funkiest and tighest studio cuts. Listen to the deep pocket that the rhythm section is holding down. DLR is on fire. And the way Ed dances around the groove with some nasty slide work. Sonically all cylinders firing. #GOAT
Make no mistake. 5150 is phenomenal. Top to bottom. Does it have the magic of the first six albums? Absolutely. Albiet uniquely. There's wild, raw energy throughout. Performed with something to prove. Earns its spot in the @VanHalen catalog. Songs are some of @eddievanhalen best.

"Take Me Back (Deja Vu)" from #Balance is a shining example of mid-period @eddievanhalen songwriting chops. Huge show of maturity as a Songwriter. Perfectly played & produced. And always a gift to hear Ed play acoustic on record. A Standout from that album and era. #guitar #GOAT
The @nbcsnl performances were varied & great, but this one with @PaulMcCartney has a Van Halen early days connection. @rustyanderson1 played guitar for Eulogy in the 1970s, an LA band that shared stages with Van Halen in Hollywood and Pasadena circa 1975-1977. Awesome to see!
