Since March 2025, the EUAA has supported 🇧🇪 Immigration Office by deploying experts to the Brussels registration centre. Working with national authorities, the Agency helps facilitate timely registrations and improve efficiency in asylum procedures.

👮‍♂️ Sixteen officers from the Cyprus Police’s Aliens & Immigration Unit are now registering asylum applicants at 🏠 Pournara First Reception Centre. Supported by EUAA training in CEAS standards, this effort strengthens registration capacity and aligns practices with EU norms.

EUAA supports 🇷🇴 in 10+ locations, incl. on asylum registration & temporary protection among other key areas strengthening their national systems. The Agency's Executive Director welcomed 🇷🇴 General Inspectorate for Immigration & Border Police to reaffirm our strong cooperation.

🇪🇺🤝🇮🇹 EUAA Executive Director Nina Gregori met with Italian Ambassador H.E. @valentinasetta to discuss strong cooperation between the EUAA & Italy, encompassing operations, training, & Pact implementation. The meeting reaffirmed 🇮🇹 key role in strengthening 🇪🇺 asylum systems.
