As an alumna of an exchange program (thanks @Creighton), I was delighted to connect with past alumni of our many programs, from former trainees to past participants of EUVP. These exchanges are powerful, helping us see beyond headlines and policies to the human connections. 🤝

Yesterday I joined @wef for a dialogue on trade and investment. For economic growth, what matters is predictability & security of supply chains. EU-US supply chains are the highest integrated & most resilient, so we must work together to bring stability & success to our markets.

How can I be in Washington AND in my hometown of Panevezys, Lithuania? Through a very in-depth discussion with my hometown community about the future of transatlantic relations, defence, and homework to boost innovation in the EU. 🇱🇹🇪🇺

I send our deepest condolences following the loss of life and devastation caused by the floods that recently struck #Texas. The news of so many lives lost, including children, is deeply heartbreaking. We join @GregAbbott_TX in prayer for all affected by this disaster.

Best of luck to my friend @DKambUSA as Denmark takes over the EU Council Presidency today. The geopolitical challenges have rarely been greater, the need for EU unity never stronger. God speed!

This European Council came at the right time. Amid extreme volatility, we took stock and coordinated our collective response. First and foremost on defence ↓

Under relentless fire, Ukraine is passing reform after reform. This is why the Commission defends the opening of the first cluster of negotiation. Ukraine has delivered – now we must too. Because the accession process is based on merit. And Ukraine merits moving forward.

With the number of global crises we face, the EU and US need each other more than ever. Grateful to have friends in Congress like those on the @HouseForeign Subcommittees on Europe & Indo-Pacific. Cheers to a lovely evening @RepBera @WilliamKeating @RepJuanVargas @RepJimCosta
