Michael Platten has been selected and nominated as Ambassador for the ERC network. The @ERC_Research & the @ERCGrantees launched the new Ambassadors on 28 April. This joint initiative aims to promote investment in frontier research and highlight the importance of #research.

Congratulations to our new ERC Consolidator grantees! It remains a fact though that many excellent applicants couldn’t be funded due to lack of @ERC_research budget. This waste of talent can only be tackled by increasing the investment in blue sky research in Europe.
