It goes without saying that Awdry Extravaganza 5 was one of the best weekends of my life! It was so much fun and amazing to see friends old and new come together at this little railway in Wales to celebrate their love of Thomas, the Railway Series and engines in general.

To our amazing volunteers out on the trains, adorned in purple, in the blockposts, selling tickets and to the staff in the cafés and office - thank you for all of your hard work, we literally cannot do this without you!

Being in that crowd on Sunday, it was an atmosphere that is usually found in stadiums, the euphoria was truly special - but ultimately, very well deserved. Nowhere but the @TalyllynRailway could do anything on this scale. It was phenomenal.
