Can tell very little until they have several practices in pads but I saw some good things. Like the way the secondary competed. Think they have a ton of talent there.
In terms of the way he's built & the way he moves, I see some of a young JJ Nelson in UAB true frosh WR Jaylen Elder. Not making any predictions here but it will be interesting to see Elder develop over the years. Sure was fun watching @_ThaJizzleMan grow into a NFL WR.

Jalen Kitna is UAB's starter at QB but I thought Ryder Burton also threw the ball well today.
UAB transfer portal additions WR Kaleb Brown, DE Amorie Morrison and Eli Ennis practiced today after each missed the spring - or least most of it - with injury. All 3 should play a big role.
Quick impressions from first day of UAB football camp: Depth appears to be good throughout and the practice approach felt different than the last two years.
