In about 45 hours, I managed to beat MH Rise: Sunbreak without carting. A scary run, as monsters in this game deal a ton of damage compared to other games if you don't gather enough green Spiritbirds. Primordial Malzeno was the end goal.

Palamutes are so much fucking better there's like no debate - Faster - More agile - Better customisation, weapons and armor for them - Fights alongside you instead of standing awkwardly on the side and being one of the worst visual nuisances I've seen in a game like this

"MH Wilds can't be a bad game because it's a Monster Hunter game" is the funniest argument I see floating around

Paid skins in a non f2p game is crazy, but people are fine with it because "it's just cosmetics"

Favorite thing about Milds is when you do an investigation and for some reason the monster spawns on the other side of the fucking map instead of its fixed investigation spot I guess the spawn technology was too hard to do in 2025, even though they figured it out 20 years ago
