Today was a good day. I got to look after a veteran of the Korean War who fought the Chinese at Imjin River. We proper squaddie laughed swapping stories, obviously his were far better and funnier than mine. #LestWeForget🌺

Nothing has made me prouder of Jacob this year, to read the last bit of his final primary school report. His mum would be genuinely so happy to read this if she was still here. Knowing his past and to be a good human being is all she ever wanted him🥲

Super proud of Jacob today. His second transition day to high school and some children in his form were picking on another child. He told them to stop and now he has a new friend. Days like this I see his mother in him🥲 #SingleParentLife #SayNoToBullying
