Global Edmonton just reported that the maga musician's application to play at the Leg handstand was incomplete. So far so good, right? Hell no! Our UCP government is helping him fill out a complete application. I just can't...

The #Alberta government’s $143M settlement with a coal company is drawing backlash from environmental groups, opposition MLAs & Indigenous leaders, who say the payout reflects years of policy flip-flopping that left taxpayers on the hook. #yyc @CTVCalgary ctvnews.ca/calgary/articl…

The UCP is making life more expensive for seniors in Alberta.
Rights of Alberta seniors are being neglected by the UCP gov’t now more than ever. Drug & health benefits rolled back, skyrocketed cost of living having a disproportionate impact. This after the UCP did away with the office of the seniors’ advocate and amalgamate it into health.
A local constituent shared how her loved one in a care home is facing delayed, dangerous support—not because of staff, but because they’re overworked and understaffed. This is the result of @ABDanielleSmith’s reckless cuts. Seniors deserve dignity, not delays.
Cancer patients are now at risk because of the measles outbreak. This is on you to fix, Premier. globalnews.ca/news/11303165/…
Whatever the outcome, one thing is clear. There was a lack of character in that room. Nobody stepped up and said “I don’t care what she’s saying, this isn’t right, we should be better than this.” Even if there may have been consent, just because you can doesn’t mean you should.
I feel that in a case such as this, where it's a he said/she said, both the victim and the defendants should be forced to take the stand. If the judge is basing her decision on the alleged inconsistencies in the victim's testimony, the defendants should face the same scrutiny.
All 5 players found not guilty of all charges!!! Will they celebrate by going to another London, Ontario bar?
The leases in question were granted in 2020, and then the policy was reversed in 2022.
Nenshi is either ignorant or a liar…but probably a bit of both. These settlements are a direct result of a previous government choosing to effectively ban all coal mining —- even on lands with privately held coal interests —- a policy the NDP demanded and literally ran campaigns…
“This case illustrates what survivors are up against: a system where the accused may remain silent and be presumed innocent, while complainants are dissected, doubted, and demeaned at every turn.”

You must be joking. Those taxes offset the incredibly high costs of alcohol use to our health-care system and economy. In 2020 (likely even higher now), alcohol consumption cost Canadians $19.7 billion dollars in lost productivity, health care, criminal justice and other direct…
Canadians pay, on average, $20 more per case of beer than Americans. Why? Canada has the highest beer tax rate in the G7 & the federal component has automatically increased by over 18% since 2017. If the new federal government is serious about affordability & economic growth,…
