Who knew so many abled people were so passionate about disability simulation, and so sure of their right to do it regardless of disabled people saying it’s offensive, and regardless of research showing it doesn’t work! I learn something new every day in this ableist hellscape.

Great to see past trainees @DrSorayaKhanna giving their thesis work a wide audience at the AEP conference in Edinburgh 👏 @Dr_Sian_Jones
I enjoyed this. The zine-poems were fab :-)
Year 3 UG Primary made mini zine poems this week as an experiential learning activity to celebrate the LGBT+ community in schools
How is talk about disability changing? And why does it matter? @ClareUytman and I respond:
Teachers will get help to 'rethink' how disability and ableism are discussed in schools, through a course from @QMUniversity tes.com/magazine/news/… @tes @Henry_Hepburn
This 👇
People say this to disabled people who have to navigate ableist systems and tbh I think it just sounds like condoning the system
Great to see mention of @SUIG_Scot_Incl 's Framework here -- and that disability is not seen as a dirty word.
