We agree with Minister, @jessphillips: no abusive parent should have automatic access to their child. So why hasn’t the government changed the law? Why is the pro-contact culture still putting children at risk? @MoJGovUK
The presumption of contact for abusive parents should not be law in this country, but many violent perpetrators and sexual abusers continue to access their children due to rulings in the Family Courts. The Govt must act now to protect our children, what are they waiting for?
