We need a marketing term like 'Horsepower' to sell AI productivity to orgs; Cogpower, Thoughts per second, Agent power, Read–Write Velocity, Scriptpower....
I love reasoning models but wouldn't want to go to the pub with them. If I want general chat give me a foundational models. For expertise add RAG. For making media generative models and for getting things done, agentic. AI models are like people. But when it's all thing? GPT-5?
Procurement people are in the business of not telling what their process is, then drip feeding it only on request, all the while accusing you of being negligent on their process.
Problem is that it hits those with physical jobs hard - working class people. Try being a plumber at 70. These fools assume everyone works in an office or sit at home having online meetings all day.

AI has outpacing expectations. Underestimated at every turn it has advanced further than we dared imagine. Some deliberately & persistently downplayed what it could do; the brick wall, plateauing, stochastic parrot narrative. Many still stuck in this Pythonesque parrot narrative.

Last night, President Trump posted more than two dozen times on his social media platform, Truth Social. He posted phony mugshots of Barack Obama and an AI-generated video of the former president being arrested in the Oval Office. He posted about the NFL’s Washington Commanders,…
EHCR Interesting piece that scotches most of the sacred cows. Many have simply ignored it, many don't use it, not necessary for Good Friday Agreement. Over legislates, limits policy and against the grain of common law. gawaintowler.substack.com/p/britain-and-…

Here we go.... the endless Sisyphean fear mongering.... now its online friends. Imaginary friends are OK in literature but not online. And what 10 year old calls LBC at 10 pm? One you probably don't want as a mate.

Sell. In fact, outlaw crypto. Anyone even remotely interested in climate change that deals with crypto is being duplicitous...
This would be a terrible decision. The UK should be implementing Reform’s Crypto Bill and increasing its Bitcoin reserves. Selling now will go down as a far worse decision that Brown’s fire sale of our gold. The Westminster class are dinosaurs who don’t get the future.

Listen to Johnathan Vaughn people he knows what #SundayBrunch is all about
With AGI, UBI needs cash, that means tax, but there's no employees to tax, so it has to come from tech companies. The political solution is NOT UBI but tax.
