UPDATE: After medical evaluation, QB Justin Fields sustained a dislocated toe in his right foot and will be day-to-day. Fields avoided serious injury and significant missed time.

#NDSUSeasonOpenerCountdown: #37(bonus): A Bison Hall of Famer, who won three national championships in Fargo. A big time playoff performer, running for 383 yards and five touchdowns in seven career postseason games. Another tremendous running back, number 37, Doug Lloyd.
#NDSUSeasonOpenerCountdown: #37: The biggest kick in school history. Down 21-20 at Iowa with 5 seconds left, Cam Pedersen drills a 37-yard field goal as time expired to deliver NDSU its biggest win in school history, 23-21. Marked the sixth straight win over an FBS program.

Last on the list is number one, and only in Fargo is offensive linemen as popular as the quarterback. That's certainly the case at the left tackle spot with five straight NFL Draft picks. The next in line to take over at left tackle, Beau Johnson (@BeauSLP23).
