If I had R1000 to invest on a monthly basis, my personal breakdown would look like this: R400 in an S&P 500 ETF R300 in a Gold ETF R200 in a Nasdaq ETF R100 in a JSE Top 40 ETF Do that for about 18 months, then begin to add others into the portfolio afterward
Top 10 movers down today❤️ You need to treat the down list like a shopping list of potential gems on sale vs crap you don't need. If a good company goes on sale, you wanna buy it on a red day. Avoid catching falling knives. They are sadly hidden here too. Have a blessed Tuesday
Oh wow. Im glad I could inspire someone to invest in their future 😅
To keep the momentum going from regular deposits into my TFSA, I’m definitely showing some love to my ZAR account for the next 18 maybe even 20 [I like nice round numbers] investing in a portfolio inspired by @DloksFX pinned post. Portfolio allocation:
Sometimes you just need a reminder of why we invest long-term….I have maxed out my TFSA since inception. If you have your TFSA in an ordinary interest bearing bank account, you most likely won’t see such returns. #TFSA #RoadToFinancialFreedom Read more on my TFSA journey here
It’s been over 8yrs since TFSAs were introduced in SA. The TFSA program was officially launched in the 1st of March 2015 as part of National Treasury’s efforts to promote a culture of saving and financial independence among SA citizens. This is my TFSA journey so far:
Guys, if the salary says Omoda/Beijing, go for it. Car installment being 50% of your salary for 6 years & you still have 40% balloon, is not the life.
Lord, may such never locate me, cause what😭😭😭
It’s painful when levies, rates, taxes, water and electricity add up to more than your bond monthly payment 🥲🥹😭😭😭 Yer! This month + winter are not kind at all 🥲
And I'll stand by ETFs throughout all my days 🔥🔥🔥
ETFs are goated 🚀🚀🚀 JSE-listed ETFs have delivered stellar returns over the past 5yrs - proving the power of consistent, low-cost, simplified investing. Imagine returns of 198% in 5yrs without picking individual stocks. Here are the top 20! #RoadToFinancialFreedom

Honestly. This page is such a cheat code for market information it's crazy 🔥
Anglo American $AGL $AAL.L is one of the most underrated plays on the JSE right now. 🇿🇦 The Copper price is at all time highs, but Anglo American is -30% off its highs. Anglo has some of the best copper assets in the world and will benefit from the increase in Copper demand.…
The way I was so extra when I first started buying shares. I used to only buy my groceries from Shoprite and Checkers simply because I had shares in Shoperite 😭😂😂😂
Bro. Share the sauce 😭😭😭
Exclude me, please 😉. 🔵 S&P 500 🟡 My USD Portfolio
I see so many people on X that use EasyEquities show off their portfolio totals but not the growth of their portfolio and stocks. What's the point in investing if you not growing your money? Focusing on what's in your portfolio and "growing your money" should be much more…
Make your money work. Even if you invest R500 and make R100. That's R100 you didn't have before...
I don't have a dividend focused portfolio. I am really focused on growth right now and aggressively. But it does feel good to have income coming in whilst not actively working for it. Are you focused on dividends/income or growth right now?
Now that the TFSA is maxed out. Time to implement this strategy… month 1/18 let’s go! 🐂🚀

Perfectly said honestly 👏
This is my struggle too. Smaller deposits are at the beginning of your journey and those can be up 100% even 500%. Now you make large deposits as you earn more and boom, back to teeny tiny percentages. It's your journey and few will understand. Keep going 🙏🏾
This really needs to be understood. If you see someone's screenshot with large amounts of money but a low PnL, this is the reason. Once you start investing yourself and add regular deposits, you'll notice this for yourself...
By diluting your PnL with regular deposits. If you started with R10k, then made 50% (R5k), then later deposited a further R10k, now you have R20k invested, so R5k is now only 25% on PnL
Using the Age-scale to measure your goals in this economy is a recipe for depression.
