The response to this thread is amazing! So many people commented about how they wished someone had intervened to save their family member who was addicted or had schizophrenia etc. But instead, were left alone to die.
Anyone who is mad at Trump’s executive order on homelessness need to understand that this policy change occurred for one reason. The existing policies rooted in harm reduction did far more harm than good and completely ignored the larger harms to the community. 🧵
