My mother was right. I remember her standing in the kitchen in 1985 slapping the top of the dishwasher in frustration. "We used to make the best appliances in the world, 'made in America' meant something."

I just had to replace my washer dryer. I got 10 years out of Samsung POS, so I got lucky.

I miss how you could just buy any appliance by Kenmore-a vacuum, a washing machine, a dryer-and it would just keep working for decades.

I would imagine the Cluster B prevalence in management HR is well North of 50% when you consider elevations in the symptomatology rather than a categorical diagnosis.
If you were in management in the 1980s you likely received training on Cluster B and how dangerous these people are to a business...and society. We were trained to spot them and to remove them quickly before they could do any damage. I'd guess anywhere from 20-50% of management…
