Waterloo Uncovered

The groundbreaking charity that combines world-class archaeology with veteran care and recovery.
Did you know we discovered only the second ever human skeleton and 6500+ objects on the battlefield? We have uncovered cannon and musket balls, uniform buttons and much more! Interpretation of these objects by our experts and veterans is reshaping the narrative of the conflict.

Wonderful to see The Brigade Major, Lt Col Charlie Foinette, at Trooping The Colour His Majesty The King's Birthday Parade. In 2015, Charlie and Mark Evans founded Waterloo Uncovered. Ten years later our support to veterans continues as they discover the Waterloo battlefield.
