A fresh game developer creating new retro games and with high quality standards. Gameplay of Eternal Memory https://youtu.be/4mMdMIhZIes
Been working on finally implementing the tank into Eternal Memory. Ironically the memory wasn't a big issue. Moreso the level design was rather difficult and needed some readjustments. Regardless I think this is an awesome inclusion to the game that simply needed a cool tank

Started working on the interiors of the final area. Wanted to pull all the stops here as to make it as intense as possible

Working on some of the final areas in my game. Let's just say its gonna "melt" your mind.

I'm pushing the streaming tech hard now as it's hundreds of tiles being swapped on the fly. So now I can have these huge water tanks and unique buildings all at once.
Working on some of the boss arenas now and this is one of them
Been working on creating basically some pseudo full motion video technology. And this is what I've built all running in gameboy studio.
It's finally time to show at least a couple of the bosses. And man each one of these bosses takes a week of work. So hopefully they can look good for something that's basically your opponent.
Been doing some work on Eternal Memory's dungeon designs. So while not much I did this prison cell for the game. Which despite the lack of hardware for lighting, transparency or layers. Got it to work on the GBC.
Been doing some technical work in the background of my game. So to show something interesting. I've designed a tank you can drive thats fits into the small 8kb or RAM. And yes this can work in tandem with the main character, partners and enemies all at 60 fps.
I was dissatisfied with the way my paper world looked. So I've given it a total overhaul to give it more of a cliff like appearance. And with a mix of color blending it feels much more rustic.

Did some work on the pond area on the home planet. And super happy to show off the water animation.
Managed to upgrade the visuals some more on the home planet so hopefully it looks much better.

Been doing some behind the scenes work on my game. Mostly technical stuff that'll be ready for show later. In the meantime I've been experimenting with a day/night cycle. And I think this will be a meaningful addition to the game.

I've been working for the past few months and now I'm ready to announce a new update to the Eternal Memory demo. Now with better visuals. And with better controls that allow for greater movement with less buttons. Head on over it itch to try it out.

Heres the next world known as the dream world. A planet thats made up of an entire city and home to the largest factories. The factories themselves billow out dream smoke which can turn into anything you desire. Only something about it is a little off. #gameboy #eightbit
