Yesterday, SMART got a new general manager. Effective August 1, Tiffany Gunter, former Deputy General Manager, will be the GM. Tiffany has been working on transit in metro Detroit for over 20 years, and we're excited to work with her. We thank Dwight Ferrell for his service.

Bad news on the DDOT front, as bus breakdowns have led to a slew of cancelled trips, and (most likely) the delay of proposed September service improvements. New buses should help - but they'll take time to hit the road. detroittransit.org/ddot-service-b… #DetroitTransit
