Meet Our Newest Junior Fire Cadets! These dedicated teens are beginning an exciting journey with the Detroit Fire Department. They'll dive into the fundamentals of firefighting, EMS and rescue operations—while also developing leadership, teamwork and life skills!

Through our partnership with Henry Ford At Work, our crews are able to receive real-time health screenings—keeping their health a priority as they continue to protect and serve the city of Detroit.

Last year, Detroit firefighters and medics responded to a two-car accident and helped save Ms. Armstrong’s life. Almost one year later, she returned to the firehouse to personally thank the crew members who were there that day. 🚒🚑
