Reiterating my prediction that we will reach AGI this year-with an increased probability of 99% before the end of the year, at 100% internally in one of the foundation model companies. I also revised my timeline for achieving ASI (superintelligence) forward from 2029 to 2028.

It’s crazy to think that a year ago the top AI model was GPT‑4o. Since then we made more progress than in the previous 3 years. In the next 6-9 months, we’ll make more progress than the past 4 years. This will keep advancing at an exponential rate for the foreseeable future!
