For the longest time, I had my podcast with Mike Atherton pinned on my profile, but after having built a diverse portfolio since, I think my pinned tweet needs to be a direct link to all of my relevant work within cricket media🏏 The pursuit continues🎙️ linktr.ee/deafmango
Ben Stokes' body has had enough, and he has pinned KL Rahul LBW for 90, despite all of his physical ailments. Only Stokes.
Deplorable stuff from @lancscricket, especially when literal days ago you had red rose legend Wasim Akram ring the bell.
Cover your Pakistani shirt
So Stokesy apparently did shake Jadeja and Washi's hand. What an utter waste of time and energy on the internet.
You always shake hands at the end of a game, as a sportsperson. Not doing so is a poor look on your own self.
That's not for you to decide, Aggers. Both teams need to agree to the handshake, and if one team wants to knock down a couple of milestones in a dead game, they have a right to do so. Would make even more sense if India wanted to bat till the end to tire England out further.
"This is a bit of a farcical end to what's been a brilliant Test match. The game is more important than individuals." Were India right not to choose to shake hands and end the game? #BBCCricket #ENGvIND
Playing for a draw was the only way out for India, and it should feel like a win. The series is still alive, after all.
The India captain is happy with the result 🤝 #BBCCricket #ENGvIND
I wonder how many of India and England's squad players are a 100% fit for the Oval.

All this drama at the end of the Old Trafford Test sets things up perfectly for the Oval. India can still draw this series, and England haven't won it yet. Every World Test Championship percentage point matters, which is the beauty of it all.
Hundreds for Root, Stokes, Gill, Washington and Jadeja at Old Trafford this week, 90s for Duckett and KL, and fifties for Crawley, Pope, Sai, Jaiswal and Pant, who scored his last 17 runs with a broken toe. It's basically been a shit week for Harry Brook and Jamie Smith, only.
A drawn Test in the age of Bazball. That's how things end in Manchester, with England leading the Anderson-Tendulkar Trophy by a margin of 2-1, with the Oval Test to go. Brilliant comeback from India in the third innings to save this game 👏🏼
Behram: "If the game is dead already, no problem going for your hundred. There is no right or wrong" Bigoted Indians: "You're just a salty porki, jihadi, terrorist, beggar, *insert xenophobic curse word here*, and we will bomb you in the future" Oooook then.
Hate tweets don't bother me anymore, but I'll continue to call out haters every now and then. Why should they go scot-free all the time? Sometimes they need to be exposed to the rest of my people out there.
bro u don’t need to reply on hate tweets just ignore it why giving them importance by replying
This was in response to me saying that there is no right or wrong when you're going for milestones in a game that won't yield a result. I love my Indian friends, and respect a lot of Indians within cricket media, but fuck, xenophobia in India against Pakistan is off the charts.
You can see in the responses to this tweet how no one understood a word of what I said
Milestones and their importance varies between different cricket cultures across the globe. Every batter values scoring a hundred, for instance, but I do feel subcontinent batters value them more. There is no right or wrong, unless there is a result on the line.

You know you've reached social media nirvana when xenophobic abuse pointed towards you for over 24 hours, non stop, does not impact you mentally. Haters can continue to hate, and I'll keep singing my song, unhinged and unfazed 🤟🏼
Both of Jadeja and Washington have crossed fifty, and India are leading by 11 runs with one session remaining in the Old Trafford Test. Only a catastrophic batting collapse by India can yield a result for England now.
Jofra removes Gill for 103, as India lose their millionth wicket in the closing moments of a session in this series. Jofra would have had Jadeja next ball, but Root dropped the catch. It's all happening out there as we approach the final Lunch break of this Test.
Take a bow Shubman Gill 👏🏼 Four scores of hundred plus now on this tour 💯
Dawson dropped Gill on 46, and Pope has now dropped Gill on 81, which further increases the odds of a drawn Test.
