Refugee Rights Watch Urgent Statement 24 July, 2025. Refugee Rights Watch has received new footage showing women and underage Afghan female children crying as they are detained by Pakistani police. The risk of deportation looms a direct threat to their lives and dignity.
Ms. Lara, these Afghan allies of the United States are currently stranded in Pakistan, even though they were ready for departure. Deportation would mean sending them back to danger. We urgently ask for your support to help stop their removal. @laralogan @afghanevac @POTUS

Ms. Lara, these are also among the Afghan allies. Women and children — all are in a state of uncertainty. Deportation means sending them toward death. Please raise your voice for us! @laralogan @POTUS @shawnjvandiver @afghanevac @SecRubio @PressSec @KLeavittNews @IRAP
