Can anyone on #insect Twitter help identify this. Looks like a small black bee to me but can't identify what it is. Seen in Lincolnshire, UK Obviously it didn't fly backwards, I'm messing with the video🤣 but this is Twitter so I've got to pint that out
I know the lawn needed a cut but I was still quite pleasantly surprised to find a bee orchid growing in it. Needless to say, I mowed round it!
