Oh Canada. Don't be foolish like Australia, once the Lucky Country and then to be the Smart Country, now just a Dumb Country. Opinion: Canada, don’t make the same mistake with LNG that Australia did /via @globeandmail theglobeandmail.com/business/comme…
INXS at number one. Don't remember the J's playing them much. #hottest100ofaustraliansongs

‘Eagle Rock’ by Daddy Cool makes Top 50 of ‘Triple J’s Hottest 100 Australian Songs of all time’ at #45. I wrote the song but only that band cld make it sound like that in 1971. TY everyone who voted 🙏🏻
When I moved to Australia 45 years ago, there was a house full of bikies up the street, they'd often sit out front listening to Eagle Rock and other Daddy Cool songs. #hottest100ofaustraliansongs
Well, a quick trip to the shops was delayed, I suppose I did want a gate on the street entrance.

“I don’t know how people who pretend to be part of our species can contemplate such calculated cruelty.” Bob Carr slams Israel for its orchestrated killing & starving of children in Gaza. “Precious children & babies are dying before the world’s eyes”💥 #Abc
I've known Trevor most of my life, like me he's been affected by losing loved ones to MND, if you can please support his/this cause. walktodefeatmnd.org.au/s/6882/8737 walktodefeatmnd.org.au/s/6882/8737/t
The slaughter of Palestinians desperate for food, on top of 50,000 civilian deaths, would persuade most people that right now anti-Palestinianism is a more deadly pathology in the world than anti-Semitism. Scenes in Gaza resemble the Warsaw Ghetto.
Hey @xskinn this song brings back memories of a time in the back of a mates Ford Escort panel van. Not for the reasons in the song, he jumped in and took off, instant coutis interruptus and scrambling for jeans. youtu.be/C11MzbEcHlw?li…

Got the news today my cousin Tom had passed away. As long as I've known Tom he's been confined to a wheelchair but never gave up his love of farming and never stopped advocating for the rights of people with disability. strathroyfuneralhome.com/tribute/detail…
A year ago I bought a piece of art from @RavenZech2 who kindly gave me an additional piece to decorate my walls. After months in storage, today is the first time I've seen them and I'm so happy with them.

Need to get a bookshelf, but my reading nook is rather cosy, especially when the sun shines.

Some blue sky out the front window, clouds over the mountains out the back. Should warm up in in an hour or two. Trains from Lithgow have been running to time.

I'm not stupid, I don't click on links. Some may not be too aware and may do so. It annoys me some government services do send links. No messages on MyGov.
