Football is such a good public diplomacy tool around the world. When I lived there a few years ago, it was a massive boon for our embassy in Kuwait during the WCQ. I'm hoping to see some more of that kind of support for closer ties through ⚽️ when I move to Indonesia next year.

Good to see a bit of a fightback in the second half, and a strong showing from the Wallabies' bench, but I couldn't actually identify a game plan until around 60min into the match. Pace picked up a lot with Tate and Donno - key to success?

Not unexpected, but pretty dire opening 40 from the Wallabies. Very little offered in attack. Passive defence. Being cut up by bigger and more skilful Lions players. Still, just hanging in the contest down 5-17.
