Local Nature Recovery Strategies could provide a blueprint for how we can turn the tables on the decline of nature. I’ve been working with @worcscc on their Strategy and talking to local farmers and landowners about what they’ve been doing. youtube.com/watch?v=JB-shy…
Lively conditions developing over northern France. Heading into SE England overnight.

Marketing Malvern style. Can confirm St Ann’s Road is indeed f*cking steep.

I spent a year at Ofwat back in 2013 working on price controls I’m not remotely surprised it’s being abolished - what I saw astonished me 🧵 theguardian.com/business/2025/…
Huge variations in rainfall this month. A number of locations have recorded well over their average monthly total already, while others (including Herefordshire & Shropshire) have seen less than a fifth. Map @RoostWeather

This is a better place since my climate deniers detox. Any I’ve missed? Shout now.

Sounds good but experience shows reorganisation of public sector bodies is expensive, takes years and is no guarantee of better outcomes. It risks being a distraction to the short term action desperately needed.

Successive Governments have presided over low investment in water infrastructure. Yes water companies are to blame for sweating assets and siphoning cash to shareholders but Governments have been highly active in prioritising low bills. This is the consequence.

Some lively thunderstorms around this evening. Recent lightning strikes.

So… Farage not only has no idea what cash would be required to deliver his own nationalisation policy, he has no idea what it even is talking about “getting private money” in. Almost like he just says whatever he thinks people want to hear at any given second.
"So you don't know how much it would be in any ballpark?" #BBCLauraK asks Reform UK leader Nigel Farage about his proposals to nationalise 50% of the water industry "Of course not" replies Farage but says "it doesn't need to be a big sum of money" bbc.in/44WXpgI
I can quite understand that Farage has no idea on man’s contribution to climate change Why should he. He’s a grifter and pretend politician But I know who does know. Thousands of climate scientists who’ve devoted the lives to understanding it Why doesn’t he just listen to them
"This is not my religion" Reform UK leader Nigel Farage says it's "impossible to think we haven't got some influence " on climate change but "as to what proportion it is I've no idea" #BBCLauraK bbc.in/44WXpgI
The Leonardo C27 can carry 60 troops. Hope they’ve to tightened their belts with this maniac driving.
Brave call! Another amber warning for rain, this time Northern Ireland. SE England saw relatively modest rainfall and no significant flooding despite the warning in place yesterday. Highlights difficulty in short term intense rain forecasting.

Don’t know what she’s a doctor of but I suspect it’s not meteorology.
I don’t even know what this is, Salem MA
It must be so depressing to live only see threat and horror instead of beauty
