The news coverage used to be better years ago. Someone sat behind a desk telling you the story. No opinion, no discussion, just the facts - and you were left to make your own mind up about it. Bring that back.
32 years old here. Looks like a 58 yr old social club steward helping out in a charity game.

Live Aid haircuts: the mullet ruling the stage, but it had largely died off by 1985. Sade’s backing band with their crops and quiffs more the norm for the time.
Also, Live Aid was very safe. No one cool or controversial on the bill. It was like a Top of the Pops special from two years earlier - plus the Boomtown Rats.
My mum and dad went here. No idea how and why but they did.

Bring back Wrangler jackets.
English singer/songwriters Liam Gallagher (left) and Noel Gallagher attend a party for the opening of the Tommy Hilfiger store on New Bond Street, London (1999)
Local ice cream van - two ice creams with sprinkles and flakes plus a bubbly lolly. £5. Bargain.
Not that I frequent such places regularly, but the tout WhatsApp groups seem to be flogging last minute Oasis tickets at pretty much face value. Especially the posh seats. Bought up too many I guess.
Never seen Oasis, never bought a record, never had much interest. But they’re making a lot of people very happy and that’s surely the point of a band isn’t it? Good luck to them.
