A foggy view from the Duquesne Incline in #Pittsburgh a few weeks ago. The sun gave the haze and fog around the city this pinkish glow which made it look like something out of a movie behind the incline.

I was originally hoping for a colorful sunrise in #Pittsburgh this morning, but that wild rain shower that appeared out of nowhere had other plans. Still, it was cool to see the sky lighting up behind the rain as it moved through.

I know that Picklesburgh has come and gone, but I just got some film scans back from my visit there last week and wanted to share as it was a picture perfect day in #Pittsburgh. All shot on an Olympus Stylus EPIC with Kodak Gold 400...one of my favorite combos.

Finally got around to my timelapses of the Kennywood drone show from earlier this week. I shot two: this wide angle one and a close up of the drones, but I prefer the wide angle as it really captures the entire scene better. youtube.com/watch?v=tbvPfT…
While my lens wasn't quite wide enough to capture this entire lightning strike last night, it was still pretty cool to see it light up the sky over Lawrenceville. Storms always seem to strengthen as they move neyond #Pittsburgh, and that was certainly the case here.

Got lucky with a few sets of lightning strikes in #Pittsburgh yesterday as the storms rolled through, and this double one was pretty cool. Looks like the bolt on the left could be hitting BNY Mellon, though it's obscured by the Steel Building. More to come.

The drone show at Kennywood last night was pretty incredible. It was the first drone show I've seen in #Pittsburgh (watched one in Disney last year) and I had the perfect spot across the lagoon. Captured so many images, but these are definitely my favorites.

Another full moon image from #Pittsburgh last week, this time a wider view featuring the entire skyline from McKees Rocks. I didn't notice the orange glare from the streetlight until I downloaded the images, but it gives the image a cool, retro vibe.

On Friday morning I was able to frame up the setting moon with the bridge lit up green for Picklesburgh in #Pittsburgh and it made for quite the interesting view. This is only the second time I've seen the bridges lit up entirely green, the other was for St. Patrick's Day.

Had a ton of fun at #Pickleburgh in #Pittsburgh yesterday, and these are just a few of my favorite images. Sure it gets busy, but I thought that the layout this year made a huge difference. It never really felt overwhelming packed, and the food and drinks were delicious.

The Clemente Bridge in #Pittsburgh is absolutely packed tonight for #Picklesburgh. Only one day in, but I’d say the festival is a huge success.
This morning the bridges of #Pittsburgh were lit up green for #Picklesburgh, and I had a ton of fun capturing the setting moon behind them. The giant pickle is back on the Clemente Bridge, and I'm looking forward to checking out the festival this weekend.

Went back out to capture the moon tonight, this time from even further away from #Pittsburgh in McKees Rocks. Though the clouds looked too thick on the horizon yet again, luckily the moon quickly emerged from them and it made for some amazing scenes.

Like I mentioned earlier, the clouds blocked the view of the moon I hoped to capture this morning in #Pittsburgh, however there was a small opening that made it kinda possible. I was looking to capture the moon over the incline, but this top of the moon shot will have to do.

The moon looked pretty cool this morning as it hung low over #Pittsburgh and reflected in the Allegheny River, and there was even some early morning fog around. The shot I really wanted was mostly blocked by clouds, but at least this one worked out nicely.

Midday light isn't always best for photography, but I tried to make the most of it leaving the Bucco game last week. I don't think I've ever shot this view of #Pittsburgh at this time of day, and the bright sun really made the Ft. Pitt Bridge pop.

It's been awhile since we've had a really colorful sunrise in #Pittsburgh, and while the sky wasn't quite as vibrant as I had hoped it would be today, it was still a beautiful view. They trimmed some of the foliage on the West End allowing for this beautiful frame.

Catching up on some moon images from #Pittsburgh last month, starting with this one of the Highmark Building. I only had a few minutes between this image and one of PPG Place that I wanted, but it was worth it to capture the moon balancing on the spire.

Seeing people set up for the fireworks in #Pittsburgh is always one of my favorite parts of July 4th. From massive groups of boats tied together to people parked on the Ft. Pitt Bridge, there were some really interesting scenes.

Another view from the morning of July 4th in #Pittsburgh, this time from near the Point of View statue on the far end of Mt. Washington. I've always liked the combination of the trees on the hill and the city below, and the only thing missing from this view is the fountain.
