Daran Little
@DaranLittle
storyteller. , my life is an open book - well thumbed with a few pages missing.
No opinion. When I last watched it was 5 30 min episodes.
@DaranLittle also be interested to know your opinion on Corrie going from 1 hour slots back to half hour slots, is this a good or bad thing? Can it survive?
Just spend an hour scrolling Instagram and my heart has been filled with incredible talent. Actors. Singers. Writers. Transporting me to magical worlds and giving me joy. No six packs, no cheap gags no ‘beautiful people’ just humanity touching souls. People are wonderful
Dawn came in and did the same audition Kate Ford did. I’d known her since was ten. She was given a fair chance but was never a trained actress. After the audition we hugged and said she knew Tracy was in good hands.
Always felt in a bit hard on Dawn Acton. She was good as Tracy. Rather tedious it was felt she had be more of a "glamour puss". I agree with all the other additions though, and Kate Ford is undeniably good.

Well, yeah. All my ideas but Kieran Roberts made them happen.
Todd/Sarah/Karl love triangle, Tracy being the baddest b1tch in soap, Blanche being the funniest in soap (period) and Archie Shuttleworth sizing the cast up for coffins can all be Ar traced back to you then Daran?
Yes! We knew each other as babies at Granada together. As a producer he trusted my vision, allowed me to run with Todd being gay, agreed to me bringing back Blanche recasting Tracy and cast Roy Hudd as Archie. He jumped on Road to Coronation Street and ran with it. Wonderful man
The man the myth the legend. speaking of legends, @DaranLittle did you enjoy working with Kieran Robert’s?
You see life different when you’ve got life insurance and aren’t that bothered about how long you’ve got left.
I was once nearly arrested by a federal agent on a New York flight cos the flight attendant had taken me to the back of the plane and pulled the curtain cos he wanted to suck my toes.

Okay #soapweek people. My first memory was from 1969. Audrey Fleming rowing with husband Dickie over her affair with Ray Langton.
Wow. Thank you. Very kind. That photo was taken in 1995 with Tony Warren trying to make me laugh!!
For Day 2 of #Soapweek I’d like to give a shout out to @DaranLittle an incredible man who’s lived an incredible life and given us some incredible stories. I don’t think anybody understands the Corrie DNA as well as him. TV, Books, All sorts. He gave us it all. @SoapWeekTime
Ahhhh. Well every week for the last 37 years of my life has been soap week!! There aren’t many of us who’ve made a 30+ year career out of soap!
The good folk at @ConversationStr are celebrating all things soap this week!! Check out @SoapWeekTime x
What is Soap Week???
Happy International #SoapWeek. I’m blessed as every week feels like that for me. Early memories - Rosie and Craig as goths, Lyn Scully & Dirty Den’s 2nd death. Far too much memorabilia (literally boxes), but here’s some stuff from my office. Including a 6x4ft Neighbours poster!
One of the joys of getting older is watching tv shows you’ve already seen but have completely forgotten everything about! Watching Traitors Australia for 2nd time but absolutely no idea anything about it!!
Yep. And it was a great childhood. Safe and happy.
Hmm 😒 🤔?¿
My nan, who brought me up, would have been 105 today. We never celebrated her birthday cos grandad died on it when she was 29. She’s been dead for over 40 years but lives forever in my heart
