I found out this morning that my @NIH @NICHD_NIH F31 fellowship to study the biomechanics of uterine fibroids was CANCELLED.
As the GYN surgeon who works so closely with @DaniellaFodera on her research I am heartbroken! The neg impact on women esp women of color who suffer in higher numbers from fibroids is devastating. We need brilliant researchers. #fibroid @AAGL
