I spend far too long analyzing film transfers and audio fidelity across all formats and when there’s a really bad transfer problem or a truly stupendous transfer, I wind up making very niche elaborate goof sketches about transfer aspects filled with silly imitations.

This is clickbait. The UK IB Tech prints of Star Wars are works of art and the last major dye transfer release of the classic period. Yes, a print that old has wear. What looks terrible are the FOUR Special Editions that continually try to eradicate how the film was made.
