Last month, our Kidney Transplant fellow Dr. Santiago Rubio completed 200 kidney transplants so far in fellowship! Watch out for this rising ⭐️ in transplant surgery!

We had the honor to host our colleagues from Dalhousie University in Halifax Canada for observing Robotic Right Posterior liver resection for 10cm tumor. Drs. Boriz Lopez and Steph Hiebert are both Transplant and HPB surgeons. We learned from each other techniques and practices.

This is great to see but very concerning that in Canada our BTC patients do not have access to even one FGFR targeted treatment. To see what many in the world are getting access too is amazing for them and disappointing in Canada! #GI24 #biliarytract
