Today’s Muppet of the Day is DotBot! DotBot is purchased to help around the Furchester Hotel in the episode “The Hotel Robot”. He soon malfunctions and goes rogue, but Elmo saves the day when he finds that the cause of the trouble is that DotBot’s wires have disconnected.

Today’s Muppet of the Day is the Fierce Flaggerdragon! A Flaggerdragon is shown to reside in the Kingdom of Didd in the Wubbulous World of Dr. Seuss episode “A Bird’s Guide to Health”. He seeks help from Dr. Gazeat, as smoke has started to come out of his ears.

Today’s Muppet of the Day is Ralphie! Ralphie is adopted by the Three Bears in episode 3985 of Sesame Street. Though rarely seen since, he is established in later episodes as being extremely intelligent, being able to talk, sing, mimic animals, and prepare fruit salads.

Today’s Muppets of the Day are Crumbs Unlimited! Named for Barry White’s backup singing group, Crumbs Unlimited provided vocals for several Sesame Street songs in the 1970s and 80s. Their resume includes disco and R&B songs, genres emerging in the years preceding their debut.

Today’s Muppet of the Day is Sandy! Sandy was created for the unproduced 1990 series “Little Mermaid’s Island”. She and her brother Flounder take starring roles in the episode “Tell the Truth”, where they try to cover up having spilled Ariel’s pearl collection.

Today’s Muppet of the Day is Anna White! Anna assists Guy Smiley in hosting “Hurry Up! You’re Running Out of Time!” in episode 4182 of Sesame Street. Her role is much like Vanna White’s on Wheel of Fortune, though Anna has a flair for the dramatic.

Today’s Muppet of the Day is Monsieur Le Pat-a-Cake! Starring in the Mother Goose Stories version of “Pat-a-Cake”, Pat is assigned to bake a cake for the King. The high-stress job is not helped by Pat’s controlling nature, but he and his staff are rewarded for their hard work.

Today’s Muppet of the Day is the Pig Baby The youngest of the Muppet Show’s pigs first appeared in season two. Usually a member of the pig chorus, the baby appeared independently in the Brooke Shields episode, playing the Duchess’s cursed child.

Today’s Muppet of the Day is the Danceros! Kermit introduces the Danceros in the Jim Nabors episode of The Muppet Show, having been told he is a favorite act of J.P. Grosse. His dancing to “Bye Bye Blues”, alas, ends early after he trips over himself.

Today Muppet of the Day is Dierdre! Dierdre sings praises of the “Sounds of Our Lives” in a 1990 Sesame Street sketch of the same name. Unfortunately, this comes as her boyfriend Dirk is trying to ask an important question, and he soon leaves in frustration.

Today’s Muppet of the Day is Chad! First seen in the Sesame Street song “Let’s Lay an Egg”, Chad was named in the first episode of “The Not-Too-Late Show with Elmo”. There, he delivers a letter for Elmo, appropriate for the forthcoming “Snail Mail” bit.

Today’s Muppet of the Day is Ms. Betancourt! As Elmo’s classmates play “Action Heroes” in the Sesame Street video “Little Children, Big Challenges”, Ms. Betancourt encourages him to join the game. Since there are no hero costumes left, Elmo decides to play someone they can save.

Today‘s Muppet of the Day is the Banana! A talking banana was the first of what became known as the Singing Food, being seen as early as the Joel Grey episode of The Muppet Show. Though rarely seen, the funny fruit did seem to have a liking for banana-themed jokes and puns.

Today’s Muppet of the Day is Zoe Zelda Zelinka Zabriskie! Zoe visits Hooper’s Store in episode 282 of Sesame Street, looking for a letter to place on her sweater. Since her first, last, and two middle names all begin with Z, se receives a decorative Z.

Today’s Muppet of the Day is the Delivery Man! A dreary-eyed delivery man first appeared on Sesame Street in episode 691, dragging along an ocean liner for Oscar. He resurfaced a few times over the next two seasons, always on a mission but seldom aware of his surroundings.

Today’s Muppet of the Day is Joey! Joey, a resident of the apartment above Hooper’s Store, first appeared in installments of “Power of We Club”, produced by Sesame Workshop in 2023. He later made a cameo at the Sesame Street laundromat in the show’s Season 54 premiere.

Today’s Muppet of the Day is Gooze Orman! Gooze (pronounced Gooz-ie) is one of the richest Grouches in the world, a position she gained from her “Pretend Your Way to Trash” method. She shows it off in Sesame Street Episode 4514 as she helps Oscar avoid online scams.

Today’s Muppet of the Day is Tom Smith! Little Tom Smith meets Alphabet O’Malley in a 1970 Sesame Street sketch. Tom wishes to learn his real name, and winds up also learning just why he goes by the name “Alphabet”.

Today’s Muppet of the Day is Suzy! Suzy, at left stops by the Fix-It Shop in episode 3869 of Sesame Street to see if her seashell sailboat can be fixed. This gives lots of S-words for Telly and Baby Bear’s Alphaquest, though the latter takes a bit to catch on.
