I always appreciate when the good Professor from @dungeoncraft takes a few minutes to leave a really nice compliment like this on my YouTube channel. Made my day! Instead of complaining about what you don't like, why not give someone a compliment today? Cheers!

This video got buried —but the history in it is too important to lose. If you ever used a house rule, played a fan-made class, or read a fanzine… you’re standing on the shoulders of these California creators. What’s the 1st fan-made D&D product you ever used—or even heard of?
Did you know D&D evolved outside the Midwest? The Perrin Conventions, the Manual of Aurania, Wizard's Aide, Alarums & Excursions… California changed the game—and almost nobody talks about it. Click below to watch the full story on YouTube!
You probably won’t see this video in your YouTube feed—YouTube’s algorithm buried it. But it’s packed with history. See this comment below to understand why it's so important, and then watch the video here: youtube.com/watch?v=i1Zb1u…
The influence of the California Scene is vastly overlooked. From the Perrin Conventions, Warlock, Arduin, the Thief Class, and the Manual of Aurania to Runequest, Call of Cthulhu, modified rules for Superhero 44 (2044) that became Supergame and Champions, it was a creative place.
This is a fun one because I got exclusive interviews with California Creators including Lee Gold, Darrold Wagner (creator of the Thief class), and Nick Smith (co-creator of Warlock), among others! Don't miss this one!

This video is already sparking some fascinating conversations about California’s impact on early D&D. From Berkeley to Santa Monica—these stories shaped the games we still play today. Learn more here: youtu.be/i1Zb1utxLfs?si…
I was part of that. My version of D&D - Mythrules - was published in Berkeley in 1978.
